Women in the spotlight

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, LFB reveals the results of its gender equality index and highlights two inspiring careers of female employees.

Good news! In 2023, we were awarded a score of 98/100 on the gender equality index, one point more than last year.

Discover in pictures the testimonials of Aurélie Colin, Product Manager and Laurence Jobert-Botigny, Medical Affairs Manager, 2 colleagues with professional careers like no other.

Aurélie and Laurence speak about their inspiring careers
Aurélie Colin, Immunology Product Manager has been with LFB for 10 years : "I found my way thanks to LFB, who supported me and gave me a chance."
A few years after joining the Research team at LFB, I took night classes and earned a diploma in marketing. At the end of the programme, I was given the opportunity to become a Hospital Sales Representative for the Intensive Care line of products. After my maternity leave, LFB offered me the position of Pulmonology Product Manager. I wasn't originally destined for marketing, but this job has brought out a creative side in me that I didn't have in my previous position. Today, as Immunology Product Manager, I am proud to be in charge of LFB's number one selling products.
Laurence Jober-Bouligny, Head of Medical Affairs has been with LFB for 17 years : "LFB has been the opportunity of my professional life. Each collaboration has nourished me a little more and taken me further."
"I wanted to become a doctor but I failed the competitive exam. By default, I worked as an English teacher for a while. That experience was very enriching but, after a few years, I returned to mu first aspirations and then joined LFB as a Hospital Representative in the Intensive Care range. And with the international expansion of LFB, my knowledge of the products, the company and my expertise in English have allowed me to progress to a position as International Scientific Manager. Today at the age of 60, I have reached the highest position I could have hope for: Head of medical Affairs.
