LFB Grants

LFB confirms its commitment to research for the benefit of patients by launching the new edition of “LFB Research Grant in Immunology.”

This initiative unveiled by LFB aims to encourage young health professionals to submit work to improve the management of patients treated with immunoglobulins and their quality of life.

THE GRANT

Two prizes will be awarded in 2024 as part of the LFB Research Grant in Immunology and will be for:

  • A project in the field of immunodeficiencies,
  • A project in the field of immune-mediated neuropathies.

The amount of each prize is €15,000.

The LFB Research Grant in Immunology 2024 is reserved for healthcare professionals from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

REVIEW COMMITTEE AND APPLICATIONS PROCESS

For each prize, applications will be reviewed by an independent committee of recognized European experts.

Committee for projects related to immunodeficiency : Professor Javier Carbone (Spain), Professor Francisco Espinosa Rosales (Mexico), Professor Stephen Jolles (United Kingdom), Doctor Nizar Mahlaoui (France)
Committee for projects in immune-mediated neuropathies : Professor Yesim Parman (Turkey), Professor Hans-Peter Hartung (Germany), Professor Jean-Marc Léger (France), Professor Yusuf A. Rajabally (United Kingdom), Professor Steven Vargas (Mexico)

The deadline for submission of applications is September 15th, 2024.

The results will be announced later. The awards ceremony will be held later on.
